Your Former Friend Marthew by LouAnn Gaeddert illustrated by Mary Beth Schwark. 2nd Part

Summary:

Last day of classes Matthew traveled to spend summer vacation and he would be back to study again in the fall. Matthew and Gill had a science fair project on the rocks, so Gail had spent all her summer for reading books about rocks and search for different rock samples. When Matthew returned, he had changed his interests. He became sitting with the boys only and he became playing basketball, too. However, Gail invited Matthew to her room, which was painted by her father in the summer, because she wanted to show him her rocks collection. He come and saw everything she had in her room. Then, Gail asked him what he was doing for our project. He surprised first and then he remembered that they all have a common project, but, unfortunately, he did nothing!  Gail got so angry, but her mother advised her to find other friends because her mother had always great substitutes and Gail did. She made new relations, with Joyce who was a smart man because he did the best science fair project in the school, and with Amanda who her mother died when she was a little. One day, their teacher, Johnson, asked them about their projects. First, Joyce's project was breeding guppies - the genetics -. Second, Gail answered that its project would be about rocks. On the other side, Matthew had never had any project yet. Finally, Because Gail was angry due to Matthew's negligence, she decided to embarrass him in front of his friends someday. As a result of this, Matthew did not accept her apology later, but she decided to give him rocks project because he was the owner of its idea. In the result day, each of them explained his/him project. But, as usual, Joyce was declared the school winner. The beautiful thing there was Matthew forgave Gail and invited her to visit his game.

Reaction:

In this book, I saw a lot of forms of human emotions such as anger, joy, crying and others. Also, I learned how to interact with each type rationally.

It is a useful book where we are possible to utilize many skills to speak and quick reading because their sentences are simple and easy to pronounce and to understand.

  3. First, I would like to say thanks a lot for waiting my new blog and I appreciate that for you. Second, I agree with your opinion because feelings and emotions are the most important point for human relations. Humans change thier behavior naturally. They may seem harsh in some circumstances, but at the moment may turn trom cruelty to mercy and may turn from hatred into love, and so on.
